April Diaper Deal

Did you miss that Diapers.com deal a few weeks ago? Don't despair they are offering another deal for April. You can still receive $10 off your first order ($49 minimum order) when you enter the referral code GBSAVERS at checkout. But NOW through April 30th you will receive an additional $5 credit on your second order! All orders over $49 ship for free. There is a $10 rebate available too (see below). If you are a member of MyPoints or Ebates... start shopping there and earn money back that way as well.

They offer all the big brands plus their own generic. Look around a little bit before you order, some brands offer e-coupons for additional savings. Or if you have any manufacturers coupons (any $3 Huggies printables left?) you can also mail them in for additional credits on your next order.

I ordered diapers from this site last month and was very pleased. My order came super fast! There's nothing like having diapers delivered right to your door. What a great gift this would be for a new mom too! We had been getting our diapers at Sam's Club but decided to let our membership expire. When there are no deals to be had, this will be my source for diapers (prices are similar to those you'd find at the store or better)... only I won't get the $5 off my next order. Bummer.

*There is still a rebate available for first time customers but it is now for $10 (or a free magazine subscription) and you have to spend at least $75. If you do take advantage of the rebate be sure and send in the paperwork as soon as possible. The magazine offer is the default and your subscription will start before you can even send in your form!

This is also great magazine to read for its recipes, money saving tips, etc.

Free Books

PaperBackSwap.com - Book Club to Swap, Trade & Exchange Books for Free.

Paper Back Swap is perfect if you want to...
  • -get books free...
  • -read books the library doesn't have...
  • -get rid of some books...
  • -need books for school or homeschooling...
  • -give books as gifts...
  • -declutter...
  • -reduce, reuse, and recycle...
It's free and easy and FUN! You list books you don't want and when someone requests your book you mail it to them (costs under $3). For each book (it doesn't have to be a paperback) you send you get a credit to request one of your choice and the other person pays to ship it to you. When you list your first 10 books you get two free credits to give it a try. So you can order 2 books right away - free of charge -- and have them mailed directly to you! No strings attached. No gimmicks. No spam mail. Nothing.

When we signed up we chose 12 books we didn't want anymore and listed them. Almost immediately we had 3 requests. I was shocked. Now these weren't bestsellers. They were an odd assortment of non-fiction and cookbooks. But most people, now us included, have a "wish list" of books and as soon as one of those books is listed you get an email request for them. For every book mailed out, you get one in return!

After we cleaned our shelves and my mom's too. :) I started looking for other book sources. Now we go to the library book sale on the last day and fill a bag for $2. Then I come home and list them all on Paper Back Swap. You never know what will be requested. Sometimes you are sending a book every couple days and sometimes it's quiet for weeks. If you run out of credits and really want a book you can buy a credit for $3.45 which beats paying store prices any day!

If you love to read or if you have books sitting around collecting dust that you'll never read...it's great! You get "new" books and get rid of ones you don't want anymore! The selection is awesome and changes constantly. We have a great time putting books on our wish list (if a book isn't immediately available you just add it to your "wish list"). We have a huge wish list and books come up all the time! The real fun starts as you ship books and start getting others in return!!

If you are a PBS member, leave a comment about your experience. And if you're not feel free to ask questions!

Mega Swag Bucks Day!

Once again it's Friday... which means it's Mega Swag Bucks day. If you search on Fridays there is a greater chance to earn MEGA Swag Bucks!!

Yesterday was Swag Bucks "birthday" and they changed things around a bit. The biggest change is that all "bucks" are now multiplied by 10. What used to be 1 Swag Buck is now ten, all prizes also went up accordingly.

They also changed their "Special Offers" program. Now when you go to "Special Offers" and scroll through the offers, you'll be eligible to earn Swag Bucks once a day. No Swag Code will appear, instead you'll just get a message with the amount of Swag Bucks you earned. As long as you go through all the offers, you'll be eligible to earn varying amounts of Swag Bucks once a day. (For example, today it was 3 Swag Bucks.)

If you haven't already joined Swag Bucks... it's an easy way to "earn" gift cards and prizes by searching the internet. And it's free! I ordered two $5 Amazon gift cards this week!!
