Free Pictureka Game at Wal-mart

I saw this Pictureka deal on Common Sense with Money earlier today and thought I'd give it a try. It worked without a hitch. The Pictureka card game is $5 at Wal-Mart and there is a printable $5/1 printable Pictureka coupon. (Coupon states it's good off ANY game, does not state size or dollar amount.)

Since you can print the coupon twice you can get two of these for free. A great stocking stuffer item, donation, or future birthday gift!

I had never heard of this game but it is apparently four games in one, including some matching and letters activities. The box says it's for ages 6 and up.

Clearance Deals at Wal-mart

Wal-mart in Lawrence (West DePere) is at it again. More shoes on clearance and lots of clothes too. Shoes for men, women, boys, and girls ranging from $5 to $15.

Lots of clothes clearanced for $3 as well. I got several nightshirts for myself, a 3 piece (1 t-shirt, 1 tank, 1 short) Handy Manny set, and a 3 piece (pants, light jacket, and t-shirt).

The clothes are in their respective areas and the shoes were in the middle aisle by the new shoe section on a huge rolling cart.

Clearance Shoes

If you need shoes for little ones you might want to stop by Wal-mart in West DePere in the next couple days. They had a decent selection of kids shoes on clearance for $5 and $2. Lots more girls styles than boys. They are not in the shoe department, they are in the middle of the store in a couple rows of clearance items (probably due to the remodeling). We ended up getting 6 pairs of shoes for $15!

Free Snuggle Dryer Sheets

There was a coupon for $2 off any Snuggle fabric softener coupon in last Sunday's paper. Wal-mart has the 40 ct. sheets for under $2.

I just thought I'd mention this in case you were not aware: if you have a coupon like this (that is worth more than the purchase price) and you use it at Wal-mart they will usually take off the full coupon amount. So make sure you buy something else to cover the extra "overage". Snuggle will help pay for something else you need! This policy varies from store to store.

If you like liquid fabric softener, Family Dollar has Snuggle liquid for $3 (regular price) so you could get a bottle for $1 there as well.

Walmart Deals

I did a little shopping Friday night. Overall it was a good trip! I spent nothing out of pocket at Walgreens thanks to a gift card from MyPoints and got $12 in RRs back. I spent $40 at Festival (on meat mostly). My last stop was Walmart. I had a few coupons that I had been saving to use there. My subtotal was $60.77 before coupons and $20.77 after! That's exactly $40 in coupon savings!!

This really has nothing to do with saving money unless you count the money saved not getting your carpet cleaned or replaced, but I want to highly recommend Spot Shot.
