Target Know-How

There haven't been any deals screaming at me from the Target ads lately. I am an avid Target shopper, but since becoming a stay-at-home mom my trips are limited to "good deals only!!". That being said, I thought I would share a couple things that can make your Target trips a little more enjoyable (and less spendy).

1. Check the Target website for their store coupons. These coupons can be combined with manufacturer coupons (the ones you clip out of the paper or print off the internet from sites like coupons.com). As long as one coupon says "Manufacturer" and one coupon says "Target" on the top, go ahead and "stack" them together to get a great deal on everyday needs!

2. Sign up for Target Mobile Coupons. If you have a smartphone you can sign up your number here and you will get exclusive coupons about every 2 weeks. These coupons require text message and data usage (since you have to access the internet to get them), so make sure your plan has these features so you don't get charged for them. These coupons are "Target" coupons so you can stack them with manufacturer coupons. When you want to use them you just show the cashier your phone and they scan the barcode that appears at the top of the message.

3. Sign up for a Target RedCard. I am a big proponent of debt-free living and HATE credit cards, but Target just came out with a Debit RedCard. This card is linked directly to your checking account and works just like your debit card by withdrawing the money immediately. The benefit of using the RedCard is that you get 5% off ALL your purchases. This card can ONLY be used at Target.

And those are a few ways to get the most out of your trips to Target. Happy Shopping!
