Well, I did my first CVS trip tonight; two of four planned transactions for this week. This combo would have been nicer, but I saved the Alavert deal for another stop I'll make later. Maybe I'll get the secret second Advil and do this deal. My very first transaction ever: Advil 5.79 (-$1MC), Softsoap 4.69, $2off10 coupon, total 7.48 OOP plus tax, 7.79 ECB's earned. Second transaction: Dove chocolate 2/$6, lollipops $5, $2off10 coupon, 7.79 ECB's spent, total OOP 1.28, 5.00 ECB's earned. Wish I'd had those Dove coupons, but 1.28 for $11 in candy isn't bad! I need to refigure my next set of transactions as the store on Mason didn't have the Beauty Book with the $2 off coupon to use for Skin Effects deal. I also did pretty good doubling up store coupons and sales with manufacturers coupons at Festival tonight and saved 12% on my groceries. Got three boxes of GM cereal for under $3. I think I'm off to a decent start!

Well ladies, I'm officially hooked. Did my second set of deals at CVS last night. Spent about $6 OOP because I got some pricier items w/o coupons, but I still got great deals considering that one item I purchased was normally 7.99 and I came home with seven items. And I have $7 ECB's for next time. I even got a free toothbrush. :-) Can't wait to do this more and get even better deals as I start collecting coupons. Thanks again!!!
