Home Depot Kids Workshop 4/2

The Home Depot Kids Workshop for April is the 2nd. Head over to make a planter/basket. These workshops are free and no registration is required, just show up between 9am and noon. All Home Depot stores participate in the workshop. Participants are also given a little Home Depot apron just like the employees wear and a pin to show they completed the project.

Free Money Smart Program and Document Shredding

The Brown County Library (Central Branch) is going to be hosting Money Smart Week the week of April 4-9. They will offer various money smart programs Monday through Wednesday evenings. Saturday from 9am to noon you can bring up to five boxes of documents you would like shredded for FREE (shredding services are being donated by Cintas Document Management). If you have any document to be shredded this would be a great opportunity to get rid of them! If you don't have any documents you need shredded you have almost two weeks to do a little spring cleaning of your filing cabinet. :)

Good News from Copps!

First, GB Savers reader Dolly wanted me to give you all the heads up that there will be a Copp's coupon booklet in the paper tomorrow. As always she'll get it typed up for us but wanted everyone to know just in case you wanted to plan ahead to buy a paper or remind a friend to save it for you.

The Bargain Sleuth spoke with local customer service and verified that although it wasn't mentioned in the weekly ad... our Copp's will be participating in Double Double Daze this Saturday! Target Deals This Week (March 27-April 2)

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been to Target but I've got a list for this week. Here it is:

• Suave Men's Hair (Ken needs shampoo :o)) Target coupon for $1/2 and Manufacturer coupon for 0.50/2 from a Smartsource insert a couple weeks ago
• Target 0.50/1 Up & Up baby item coupon-I hear rumors that their Baby Shampoo is $1.38, making it only $0.88 after coupon
• Colgate Toothpaste $2.50- Target coupon for $1/1 plus manufacturer coupon for $1.50/1 fromt his Sunday's coupon insert= FREE
• Wishbone Salad dressing ~$2.38 each- $1.50/2 Target coupon plus 0.75/1 coupon here (print 2) =0.88 each (might even be cheaper depending on the price of the dressing)
• Up & Up pantiliners 0.88- print a 0.50/1 Target coupon making them 0.38
• Up & Up Ibuprofen $0.97- print a $0.50/1 Target coupon
• The Olay coupon from a coupon insert a few weeks ago expires this week and I want to use it-You buy one Olay facial cleanser and get a free Olay body wash
• Mio Water Enhancer- this is a new product on the market that I got a free sample of a couple weeks ago. We LOVE it. There's about 24 servings in a bottle, you just squirt it in your water to flavor it. Price is $3.49 and if you buy 2 you get a free 24 pack of Ice Mountain Water. There was $1/1 coupon in Sunday's paper- try to get 2 and you'll get 2 Mio's and a 24 pack of water for $5
• A&D Diaper cream $3.34- print a $2/1 Target coupon plus $1/1 coupon here making them only $0.34!!!
• Kraft Homestyle Mac N Cheese- Print a $0.75/1 Target coupon plus a $0.50/1 coupon here- should make them a good deal.
  

Reminder: Two Ways to Get FREE Stuff

Did you know that big, brand name companies want to send you free products and high value coupons!?! Hopefully most of you are already signed up with both of these companies, but for those of you who aren't here you go:

VocalPoint is a "word of mouth" program that helps companies get the word out about their products. I think VocalPoint is the best of the best. I am always happy to receive a nice little surprise package from them in the mail. Often they'll send you a coupon for a free product, sometimes sample, and most often high value coupons. Occasionally you have to sign up for the samples and sometimes they just send them to you automatically. VocalPoint works with several different companies so offers vary (food, beauty products, etc).

Kraft First Taste is a similar program but just for Kraft Products. When you join Kraft First Taste you'll be among the first to learn all about Kraft's latest products and programs. With Kraft First Taste you usually have to log in to your account and request coupons be sent to you. These are almost always coupons for free full-size products. They occasionally ask you for your opinion after you've tried the product.

Pinecone Research is Accepting Applications!

I just got an email that Pinecone Research is accepting applications! Click here for the link.  Pinecone is one of the better survey companies out there. They pay $3 per survey. You take a survey and about a week later you get a check for $3 (or they will deposit to PayPal). I just got a check in the mail today!
