Brown County Library Book Sale

The Brown County Library Used Book Sale will be open to the public Tuesday, May 3 through Saturday, May 7 at the Central Library in downtown Green Bay. Over 100,000 books (and CDs) sorted by category for more information on the book sale click here.

Target Deals This Week

Well, it's been a few weeks since I've been to Target and I've been saving up my coupons so here's the best deals I've found:

• 20 FREE 4x6 photo prints. This week 20 prints are $2. Print a $2 off photo order coupon here and get them free.
• Up & Up Nail Polish remover 0.97- print a 0.50/1 coupon here to get it for only 0.47
• Up & Up pantiliners- 0.87- print a 0.50/1 coupon here to get them for 0.37
• Allegra Allergy- 6 ct- $7- Use a $2/1 Target coupon and $5/1 coupon from the coupon insert a couple weeks ago to get it FREE!
• Crystal Light- Use the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" coupon in the coupon insert a couple weeks ago and pair it with the $1/3 Target coupon-not sure what the final price will be
• U by Kotex had several coupons in the insert a couple weeks ago. Pair it with $1/1 Target coupon and see what kind of deal you can get
• Seattle's Best coffee- use this $1/1 Target coupon and pair it with the $1/1 coupon found in last month's edition of All You magazine. If you're not subscribed to All You you should seriously consider it as it is FULL of wonderful coupons. Or you can pick it up at your local Walmart

Heads Up! No Coupon Inserts

Since it is a holiday weekend there are no coupon inserts scheduled to be in the paper this weekend. If you buy papers just for the coupons... you can take a week off!

Reminder: Mega Swagbucks Friday

Just a friendly reminder... it's Mega Swag Bucks day. If you search on Fridays there is a greater chance to earn high value MEGA Swag Bucks.

Free Admission: GB Botanical Garden on May 6th

Visit the Better Homes and Gardens website to get free admission to the Green Bay Botanical Garden on May 6th. Just fill out a short form and you will be able to print a pdf coupon for free admission for your party of up to 10 people.

If you have never been to the Botanical Garden this would be a great time to check it out. My boys call it "a zoo for plants" and really enjoy the children's area of the garden.

Make Your Own and Save: Pistachio Fluff

Festival has Pistachio Fluff from their deli on "sale" this week for $3.88 per pound. Regular price is $4.49 per pound. You'll notice I did NOT include it on Festival's deal list for this week. :) Why? You can make your own for a lot less and it's super simple. If you have a child that likes to help in the kitchen they can make it... it really is that easy! Best of all, most of the items you need to make it ARE on sale at Festival this week.

Here's the recipe:

1 pkg. pistachio pudding
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained (Dole brand on sale for $.74 each)
1 container of Cool Whip (on sale for $.89)
1 cup mini marshmallows (on sale for $.99)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnut or pecan), optional

Combine crushed pineapple and pistachio pudding mix. Add marshmallows and nuts (if desired). Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours before serving.
